DTI , LGU INSPECTS WEIGHING SCALES IN NARVACAN, ILOCOS SUR

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) together with the Local Government Unit of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur conducted inspection of weighing scales being used at the Narvacan Farmers Market on September 11, 2022. DTI Assistant Regional Director Grace Lapastora led the inspection activity that resulted to confiscation of defective weighing scales. Narvacan Mayor Pablito V. Sanidad Sr. on his facebook post thanked the DTI for helping them in protecting the buying public at the Narvacan Farmers Market. He also encourage buyers to report to DTI, LGU, PNP all violators of laws and regulations in order to impose penalties and disciplinary action.
